Director of Operations

the Role:
Provides operational leadership that supports Project: Humanity’s artistic, community-based and relational work across PH: Youth and PH: Theatre.
Holds responsibility for organizational planning, coordination and internal systems in service of the organization’s mission, values and long-term sustainability.
Partners closely with the Executive Director to translate vision and priorities into coherent organizational practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead organizational planning and coordination across programs, ensuring alignment with Project: Humanity’s mission, values and commitments.
Oversee the integration of work across PH: Youth and PH: Theatre, supporting clarity, balance and shared direction.
Develop and steward annual workplans, timelines and operational priorities.
Manage budgets, forecast financial needs, and monitor revenues and expenses across programs in collaboration with bookkeeper
Responsible for day-to-day operational decision-making within agreed organizational parameters.
Develop partnerships, collaborations and funder relationships through thoughtful planning and internal coordination.
Design rhetorical and practical systems, templates and workflows that reflect the scale and nature of an arts-based, community-centred organization.
Support consistent internal communication and shared understanding of priorities and expectations.
Provide operational leadership and guidance to staff, supporting autonomy, collaboration and accountability.
Identify opportunities for organizational learning and improvement through reflective practice.
Oversee coordination of evaluation, reporting and learning processes across PH: Youth and PH: Theatre.
Support the development and use of qualitative and quantitative insights to inform organizational planning, partnerships and decision-making.
Collaborate with the development team to ensure evaluation practices meet funder and partner expectations while remaining appropriate to arts-based, trauma-informed and community-centred work.
Partner with the Executive Director on organizational development, capacity-building and long-term planning.

Terms & Conditions:
Start date July 6th 2026
18-25hrs/week
$2,200-$3,500/month

Location: Remote; GTA preferred
