Watch this video to take a peak at our 2021 (en)compass exhibition and hear the story of how the creative minds of youth and artists from our PH 1:1 mentorship program came together during the peak of the pandemic in pursuit of connection, direction, and affirming relationships within the arts.

In December 2021, our (en)compass exhibit presented pieces made by dozens of youth-on-the-margins and their artist mentors who took part in our PH 1:1 arts mentorship program. And you can be assured that 100% of each sale of art made by the youth goes directly to them.

ABout (en)compass

(en)compass: art from the PH 1:1 mentorship program is an exhibit created in partnership between Project: Humanity and Propeller Gallery. Featuring the compelling works of both youth artists-on-the-margins and their artist-mentors, this show tells the story of how creative minds came together online over the past year and a half in pursuit of connection, direction and affirming relationships within an arts practice. (en)compass shares — works ranging from painting to photography, digital creations to audio installations — how the arts have become a hope-inducing way to navigate pandemic waters.

ABout PH 1:1

PH 1:1 aims to connect youth in shelters to professional artists for one-to-one online mentorships in arts disciplines chosen by the youth themselves. Mentorships take place disciplines ranging from digital illustration and graphic design to photography and textile arts.
